A number is a start.
The explanation matters.

How it works

From label to understanding.

  1. 01 / Scan

    Start with a barcode.

Point your camera at a food or cosmetic product.

  2. 02 / Score

    Get the score and grade.

See how the product scores, with a grade to go with the number.

  3. 03 / Understand

    See exactly why.

Find the ingredients that moved the score, and the evidence behind them.

01 / Food

There’s more to food
than the front label.

Nutrition, additives, processing, allergens. See each part of the picture.

  • Nutrition, in context.

Scored on the 2023 Nutri-Score method, adjusted per category.

  • Every additive, named.

Its risk tier, and the evidence behind it.

  • Processing is its own question.

NOVA processing level, alongside the nutrition score.

  • Allergens, surfaced.

Drawn from the product’s ingredient list.

Read beyond the packaging.

02 / Cosmetics

Your skincare has
a label, too.

Your shampoo, your serum, your sunscreen. Skori reads INCI ingredient lists with the same care.

  • Concern, with a source.

Each flagged ingredient comes with its concern level and the source behind it.

  • Leave-on isn’t rinse-off.

A moisturiser and a face wash are scored differently because exposure is different.

  • Position matters.

Where an ingredient sits on the label counts. Further down usually means less.

  • Disagreement stays visible.

Contested ingredients are shown as contested. They cost the product no points.

The reasoning is part of the result

Every flagged ingredient
has a source.

An ingredient’s name. Its concern level. The evidence behind the call. Skori shows you what the assessment is built on.

The score starts the conversation.
The sources let you go deeper.

Knowing the limits

We tell you when
we don’t know.

A score you can’t trust is worse than no score.

Not rated.

Some products can’t be fairly graded: supplements, baby food, spices, plain tea and coffee. Skori marks them “Not rated” and says why.

When too little of a cosmetic’s label reached us, it says that too.

An explanation, instead of an invented number.

A little more context

Ask about what
you’re looking at.

Open the assistant from any product. Ask why the score came out the way it did, or what an ingredient actually is.

“Why did this product get this score?”

“What does this ingredient do?”

An E-number or an INCI name: the answers come from the same sources the score was built on.

The label is a starting point.
